PROJECT MANAGER

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Management: Oversee and manage all phases of pavement projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
  • Client Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining open and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure client requirements are met, and manage any changes in project scope, schedule, and costs effectively.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage project teams comprising engineers, technicians, subcontractors, and other relevant stakeholders. Promote a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and safety compliance.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all projects are executed in compliance with company standards, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to maintain quality and safety standards.
  • Financial Management: Monitor and control project budgets, approve expenditures, and manage project invoicing and payments. Identify and mitigate financial risks and ensure project profitability.
  • Risk Management: Identify, analyze, and manage project risks and issues proactively. Develop and implement risk mitigation and contingency plans to safeguard project objectives.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare comprehensive project reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders. Maintain accurate project records and documentation for compliance and auditing purposes.

 

Qualifications:
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (minimum 5 years) as a Project Manager in pavement construction or a similar industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills.
  • Deep understanding of project management principles, practices, and tools.
  • Proficient in project management software and MS Office suite.
  • Knowledge of safety and quality standards relevant to pavement construction and maintenance.
  • Able to handle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
